So, I’ve finally launched my new brewing website, Brewprint! I’ll be posting my brewing recipes on there now as it makes it easy to share recipes on Facebook and such. Come take a look around if you like beer, brewing, etc.

Should be pretty close to Mac and Jack’s African Amber, possibly a little stronger, surprise, surprise… Name after Animal Kingdom resort in Disney World to celebrate our upcoming trip. Waited a little long to brew after the grain was crushed, but otherwise a pretty decent brew day.
10B. American Amber Ale. OG: 1.060. IBU 43.
Notes:

I wanted to make a slightly more ridiculous IPA and Jenessa’s reaction to “The First 20 Million Is The Hardest” movie, “these tuba people are ridiculous” seemed appropriate. It’s in the secondary right now, but tasted it already out of the primary and it’s amazing even without carbonation (though I’m noticing I like all my beer…)
14B. American IPA. OG: 1.072. FG: 1.020. IBU: 79. ABV: 6.4%.
Notes:
Made for our trip to Morehouse lake this summer, this was meant to be a fairly dry brown ale good for the summer. Turned out alright, but didn’t attenuate quite as highly as I wanted.
11C. Northern English Brown. OG: 1.058. FG: 1.019. IBU: 30. ABV: 5.1%
Notes:
Second time I brewed this one and just as delicious, if not more so, as the first time. I drink it too fast though and can’t keep it around.
14B. American IPA. OG: 1.067, FG: 1.013, IBU: 65, ABV: 6.3% Read the rest of this entry »
