Feisty Chihuahua IPA

Second time I brewed this one and just as delicious, if not more so, as the first time.  I drink it too fast though and can’t keep it around.

14B. American IPA.  OG: 1.067, FG: 1.013, IBU: 65, ABV: 6.3%

Notes:

  • 5/28/10: Starter
    • 2.5 Pt. Starter with 1.25 Cup DME, WLP001, added 1/4 tsp. yeast nutrient
  • 5/31/10: Brew
    • 8 Qt. Partial Mash, strike at 158 degrees
    • 4 Qt. Sparge at 170 degrees
    • pitched at 78 degrees
    • gravity at 3.5 gal: 1.100
    • OG @ 5.5 gal: 1.067
  • 6/8/10: Racked to secondary, gravity: 1.018
  • 6/26/10: Bottled, FG: 1.013
